Like a pair of Girls

Former Liverpool and England strker Robbie Fowler was discussing the Tottenham – Chelsea game on Saturday 28 Sept 2013 when he said ” Torres and Verttonghen were at each other’s throats all game, like a couple of girls – pulling each others shirts and pushing each other” Less than half an hour later Fowler apologised but the apology has left fans claiming it was another example of the BBC’s obsession with political correctness.

I agree with the critics. This is pcgm. Boys and girls do fight differently and to describe a squablle as being more like a pair of girls fighting to me is a fairly valid description.
